Wesley G. Girod, MD, FACS

Dr. Girod is native of Baton Rouge, LA, Dr. Girod graduated from Louisiana College with a Biology degree in 1990 and earned his MD from Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport in 1994. He completed his General Surgery internship and residency at LSU-Shreveport in 2000. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Girod also offers Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy for weight loss and Gastric bypass offers Advanced Robotic Surgery such as colectomy, hiatal hernia repair, ventral hernia and inguinal hernia repairs.
